About

One of the biggest myths out there is that there are people who have "everything" together. You know the type: they seem to walk on water. They never stress about finances, they never run out of interesting things to say, they never have relationship problems, and they never seem to miss out on sharing pictures of their 5k run on social media. Out of breath? Here’s the truth: the "picture-perfect" scenario does not actually exist. We all have challenging moments. We all experience setbacks.

In therapy, we will explore these difficulties together. It can feel scary or intimidating to talk to someone about how we are feeling. As a therapist, I operate under a person-centered and humanistic approach. My ultimate goal is that you will feel heard and supported unconditionally. I believe that positive relationships are the key to survival in our world. So, whether you are looking to deep-dive into a painful memory, or just wanting to share a funny story about your cat, I’ll meet you exactly where you are.

Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania. Having been in practice since earning my graduate degree in Social Work at Temple University, much of my clinical experience has been primarily with youth and adolescents in school settings. I have also worked with adult clientele in outpatient therapy and community rehabilitation residencies. As a clinician, I have experience working with individuals facing a range of issues, such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and challenging life transitions. Having previously worked professionally as an actor, I enjoy infusing creative and "out-of-the-box" elements into my work with clients. I am proud to serve fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community.
