Several of our counselors have started to hold some of their hours as in-person hours in our offices. Both clients and counselors will be required to wear a mask and follow other CDC guidelines for in-person sessions. Please specify which type of service you would like when contacting us. We are still accepting new clients and maintaining services via in person, telehealth and telephonic sessions.

We will be updating our status on a weekly basis. Most insurances are accepting telehealth in order to allow for social distancing and isolation. If you are a current client, please ask your insurance if telehealth is covered if you that is the type of service you will be receiving.

We will happily work with all financial situations in order for our community to continue to be cared for emotionally. Please reach out to schedule an appointment if you need support. Be well and stay safe.

The office line is still in service and can be reached at 215-527-8012. Our email is jillkharle@gmail.com

Thank you for understanding our need to aid the community.

About

One of my favorite mantras is “the first step in a new direction doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be a step.” When entering a session, my objective is to provide an immediate welcoming, judgment-free, and safe environment. It is important to me that people have the opportunity to be heard and express themselves at their own pace. I value open collaboration, building relationships, and advocacy. My style is warm and practical with a focus on supporting the development of positive mindsets and improved daily functioning.

I enjoy implementing integrative modalities that utilize the whole self. My clinical specialties include Trauma-Informed Care, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Logotherapy, as well as Couples and Family Therapy.  While working with individuals, couples, and families I aim to encourage the identification and practice of specific skills that form healthier habits for a happier way of living.

Experience

I obtained my Master of Arts degree from Delaware Valley University, and am working toward licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. My clinical training is in counseling psychology. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings providing clinical services for an array of mental health and dual diagnosis issues. Areas of particular interest based on personal and professional experience include trauma, grief and loss, finding purpose and meaning, depression, anxiety, issues in early recovery, vocational stress, attachment wounds, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, and life transitions.
