About

If you are looking to reduce anxiety, acquire healthy coping skills, improve your relationships, set & practice personal boundaries and increase your overall interpersonal skills, then you are in the right place. My emphasis in therapy is to support you in identifying your unique goals, and work collaboratively to remove barriers toward building the meaningful life you have envisioned. My goal, as your therapist, is to help you create a personal road map to navigate the bumps in the road and to be present for the parts of the journey you can tune into to enjoy. I am passionate in my role as a counselor for adolescents and adults. I specialize working with individuals seeking support with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, ED/body image disturbances, and relationships. I practice a modern and relatable approach to therapy and tailor my skills to your specific needs. My personal belief is that the therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and I nurture that bond with authenticity, empathy, and transparency. I integrate affirmation, humor, challenge, and a direct and honest approach in my sessions.

“Shame dies when stories are told in safe spaces.” – Ann Voskamp

Experience

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and board certified art therapist. My graduate degree is from Marywood University which allows me to assess and treat social, psychological, and behavioral disorders. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2018 in various settings with children, adolescents, and adults. I have been working in the outpatient setting for the past five years tailoring my skills to my client’s specific needs to set attainable goals in therapy. I have held multiple art based group workshops for adolescents and adults and continue to work on integrative online courses for creatives looking to find new avenues of expression for their mental health. I am passionate about working with creatives of all kinds because I understand how difficult it can be to find support where talk therapy just doesn’t feel like enough.
