About
Whenever I am asked, ‘What is therapy?’ I like to respond with a question of my own: ‘What do you want therapy to be?’ Therapy is many things, but above all else, it is whatever you want or need the most. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or other unwanted feelings, we can make your therapy work with that. Dealing with relationship issues or struggles with work? We can make your therapy work with that. Just need someone to talk to and make you feel you are not alone in how you feel? Let’s build a therapy that works for you!
Hello! My name is Tim. I am a pre-licensed professional therapist and I would love to be part of your team to help you navigate any of life’s pathways. After completion of an undergraduate degree in English in 2014, I began working as a case manager and advocate for patients throughout Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties. In 2022, I graduated from Chestnut Hill College with Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology and Counseling. Since then, I have worked as an outpatient therapist in both virtual and in-person settings. Since 2014, I have worked with many different populations facing many different challenges including adults, adolescents, and families. I have worked successfully with clients dealing with mental health and mood disorders, processing trauma, substance use issues, and eating disorders. I like to personalize my therapy for patients so that you can feel as comfortable as possible and have the highest probability of success. Some modalities I like to incorporate include:
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Existential Therapy
- Bibliotherapy
- Psychoeducation
- Person First Therapy
- Mind Body Connection
I am a big proponent of the connection between the mind and body and how the things we do with our body (exercise, nutrition, sleep, etc.,) can influence our mind. Let’s work together to process the past, build the present you need, and plan the future you want. You are the carpenter, I can offer the tools and techniques to help you meet your full potential. I feel strongly that although therapy deals with a lot of heavy emotions, it is also about joy! Let’s work together to fulfill your potential and get you closer to the life you want!
