About
Empathy, compassion, and understanding are at the heart of my practice. I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, addiction, eating disorders, personality disorders, and issues related to self-esteem and self-worth. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and strive to create a space where every story is met with curiosity, respect, and care, no matter what brings you to therapy.
My approach is eclectic and tailored to each client's unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and client-centered therapy, adapting our work together based on what feels most helpful for you. I also believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful work, so connection and trust are always central to the process.
Experience
I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and received my Master's degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy University. I am currently working toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years working as a nanny while completing my undergraduate degree, which gave me invaluable insight into child development, emotional regulation, and the importance of compassionate, consistent support.
I've worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, which has allowed me to support individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns and life experiences, from acute crises to long-term healing work. These diverse environments have shaped my ability to meet clients wherever they are in their journey, with empathy and adaptability.
I'm also a firm believer that learning never stops in this field. I regularly participate in continuing education and trainings across various therapeutic modalities to ensure I'm offering the most effective, up-to-date care possible. Staying curious and informed allows me to better tailor treatment to each individual and grow alongside the clients I support.
A Little About Me
Outside of therapy, you can usually find me in a hot yoga class, reading something I can't put down, or testing a new chocolate chip cookie recipe (I am determined to find the best one). I love hiking, exploring new coffee shops, and strolling through local farmers markets. Spending quality time with the people I love is one of my favorite ways to recharge.
My passion for mental health stems from my own personal journey. Growing up, mental health was never something that was talked about, and for a long time, I navigated my own struggles alone. That changed when I met a therapist who helped me feel truly seen for the first time. It was a moment that changed everything for me and inspired me to become the kind of therapist who can offer that same sense of connection and hope to others.
If you're ready to begin your healing journey, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
