About

Hi! I’m Lex and I'm a dedicated and compassionate National Certified Counselor (NCC) with over 10 years of experience in behavioral health and substance abuse treatment. I have a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Rosemont College, a CACREP-accredited program, and am a member of the American Counseling Association and the International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors.
For the past 8 years, I’ve served as a clinician at Pennsylvania Hospital’s Crisis Response Center, where I've had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life. I specialize in helping individuals navigate the challenges of addictions, mood disorders, anxiety, and various other diagnoses.
I believe in the power of empathy and understanding, and strive to create a safe and supportive environment for you to freely express yourself. Recognizing every person’s story is unique, my client-centered and collaborative approach allows us to identify the best therapeutic strategies to meet your needs.
For those interested in creative approaches, I enjoy incorporating elements of music and art therapy into our sessions, adding a touch of humor, to make the process engaging and enjoyable. I am committed to adhering to the highest standards of ethical practice and professional development, and I am dedicated to understanding your personal story.
If you feel we’d be a good fit, and are ready to take the next steps toward achieving your goals, I encourage you to reach out!
